The last time I was at a club I...
1. Got stopped at the door cos I didn't have a UV chop and didn't know where to get one.
2. Wanted to ask for a sprite, just a cup of happy bubbly non-alcoholic sprite, but didn't cos I was too paiseh.
3. Was resisting the urge to cover my ears.
4. Sat alone at a table thinking a million eyes were on this underdressed loser (cos the rest went to buy drinks).
5. Wanted the earth to swallow me up.
6. Wanted to hide in the toilet.
7. Wanted to leave.

2. i do that all the time, DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE YOURSELF!! :)
3. i compensate for the distress that the noise causes me by adding to it. i yell at everyone within a 2 meter radius of me.
4. yes, this is when i practise my "fuck off" face :p
7. all the time. (unless there're cute guys around, of course. hahaha.)
woohoo! first comment! *hands cheng a prize* and i don't have a fuck off face... best i can do is a i-don't-know-what-i'm-doing-here face which probably makes things worse =P
awwwww my darling brother-kins!!! i love you so much!!
aiyoh. why do you have to stereotype yourself? what's in or not in anyway?
and what brought on this whole anti-clubbing spiel eh? ;P
hrmm, true that. people who enjoy clubbing don't have to be tagged as the "in crowd" or anything like that, so long as you're having fun with your friends.
so, sam, can we persuade you to party with us anytime soon? you might have fun amongst friends and like it too! :)
that's true too... would i go clubbing with a friend just cos it's a friend? sure. but i'll probably wanna just sit at a table in the corner. and when my senses start to overload, i'll probably wanna leave.
not saying people who club are in the wrong, it's just a difference in energy level or how much stimulation we can take or what we find fun in general etc...
my idea of a great time: sitting somewhere and talking our hearts out. it doesn't even have to be somewhere nice.
yeah. =)
