there's something about tango...

there's something glorious about tango. it's such a subtle, beautiful dance that has so many combinations of moves and so many styles. i'd say it's the opposite of salsa. salsa is about flashiness and sexiness in a pretty fixed structure while tango is about subtlety and elegance in a smooth, flowing structure.

anything is possible in tango. the crux is the leader knowing how to shift the follower's weight and knowing where her feet are at any time. once that is mastered, virtually anything is possible :)

oh yeah and tonight's milonga realy was particularly nice :)
